We have eaten here a couple of times before and had felt it was much better than what he had this time around. We still enjoyed it and the food was delicious. Our server was a bit harried and seemed to lose track of what she was doing and forgot about us a few times. Overall it was okay because we were in no rush and we enjoyed the evening catching up with old friends, but the service definitely could have been improved on.
We had the all-you-can-eat BBQ - Kalbi, bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, and spicy pork bulgogi. All tasted great, the spicy pork is cooked in the back do to health and safety concerns if it is undercooked, which was great because it was really well prepared. We only received a few leafs of lettuce and so we had to just eat the meat without the wrap, the sauces were not the traditional gochujang and doenjang I am accustomed to, they were runny versions of each to it made it hard to eat the wraps anyway.
Overall still a good eating experience.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the sides were all very great. Korean BBQ is so much fun and all the meats were of great quality.
I ordered the all-you-can-eat lunch. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Thank you for wearing masks! :)
Good food, good service, friendly staff.
Very authentic Korean bbq. Was tasty all around.
Korean BBQ is a unique experience. The variety of meats to try is amazing and well worth the price. The shortribs were the biggest hit with the table, but the spicy bulgogi (which my spice-averse companions were able to enjoy no problem) was a close second. The ice cream sandwich with sweet red beans was a perfect finish for the meal. Delicious food with exciting flavors. Easy 5/5
Staff was overwhelmed but very friendly. $20+ per adult
Wonderful food. The service is stretched a bit thin right now because they are understaffed due to COVID, but we came back today (for a second time) with our friends and had a great experience.
Service was slow, but they seemed short staffed. Food was excellent.

Meat is always frozen food is brought out quick servers are nice as well worth every penny
The meat is very soft, the soup is thick, and it's really delicious. Even though it was America, it was really good to feel the taste of Korea.

Haven't had Korean in a long time. This was as good as I remember. William was my waiter. Very friendly. Great service. The food was delicious. Got the spicy beef bulgogi. Lots of sides. The broccoli and the sprouts were a little salty for me, not to the point that I didn't eat them. That could just be the way it is supposed to be, or a personal preference thing. Got a refill on the pickled radish.
Great service. Unique eating experience. Not for picky eaters. Many yummy options. I would suggest the all you can eat option.
Great tasting food! Portions of meat were awesome.
I went there tonight with my husband and mother in law and we had William as our server. He was so kind and attentive to our table and gave great suggestions. We have been to other Korean BBQ places but this one is our new favorite! The meat was fresh and delicious, the dumplings were amazing and the service couldnt be beat. We will definitely come back!
Spicy beef bulgogi was excellent but portions are small and grill is halogen, which is less versatile than gas and does not sear the meat well.
Good service, excellent meat and side dishes. Everything was so good, thank you so much. Good luck with your business. Daebak~
Great experience.
Fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant with super friendly staff! We did the all-you-can-eat dinner (although didnt even end up ordering more than 6 meats cause we got full so quick), and everything we tried was fantastic. The staff was super helpful and made great recommendations for the best options. He also even asked for feedback in the end about what we did and didnt like. Weve been to Korean bbq places all over and this one is definitely solid.
Great food. The waitress - Kim - was so nice!!! She made the meal feel like we were at a friend's house!
Good food and calm atmosphere
Ejo's Korean BBQ is the most authentic Korean BBQ in Utah. The short ribs are my favorite. The denjang jiggae(the yellow bean soup) is the best that I've had so far in my life and I'm a Korean had Korean food all my life. I can eat their food everyday and I wouldn't get sick of it. That's how good it is. Now the service wasn't the best, but not the worst either. We got what we wanted. Thank you for serving us and we will definitely be back.
Best Korean BBQ I have ever eaten. Service at the table was prompt and friendly! I would encourage anyone, especially Korean food fans to go to EJO!
Had a great time here! Fun Korean BBQ experience. We got the all you can eat which I highly recommend so you can try different things. Two things I think that could have been improved on were that they closed the kitchen before their closing time, which was a bummer since we showed up more than an hour before closing and were told halfway through that they were taking last orders. You should keep your kitchen open for your guests. We also had to ask for sides to be brought out multiple times, which I felt should have come out from the get go and refilled with a bigger group. Overall, fun experience with quality meats and food.
The food and service was very good. I didn't realize we'd be cooking our own food, but it ended up being a fun experience.
One of the best bbq!!
Friendly staff, delicious food, good variety!!
I like this place, never crowded and never a long wait. Food is amazing, well that's because I just love korean bbq. The staff is very kind and always checking up on their tables that has been served.
Had a wonderful experience at Ejo Korean BBQ. Fresh quality meat to cook right at the table.
I would definitely go back with friends or family. It was a memorable experience.
May was our waitress and she was great. The food was very good. We did the all you can eat and it was very good. You cook the meat yourself which I liked. When youre the only white people when you walk in and everyone looks at you, you know its going to slap.
I love all flavors of their sauce !!
Its goos together with pork belly :)
Very yummy, and real asian taste
The all you can eat price is pretty good for the amount of variety you're able to order. The customer service could have been better. I felt like our server could have checked in on us more regularly. We could have had more water refills and more banchan refills, but he did bring us everything we asked for in a timely manner. We have been to this restaurant multiple times over the course of a few years. Service varies depending on who your server is. We will come back though, because we like the cost and the variety in the menu.
Fun experience! All of the different meat options and kim chi were delicious. I do wish there were more veggie options for the All-you-can eat, but I was still more than satisfied.
Fantastic stone bowl bibimbop and mandu. If definitely got to go back!

EJO IS THE BEST! Their staff is so friendly and the food is so fresh. Ive eaten here dozens of times and never once had anything but the best. I strongly recommend going all you can eat style!
Some friends took my husband and I here! It was such a fun experience! Lots of good meats and drinks! So much fun. Would probably be best if you can eat with chopsticks! I'm sure they have silverware but it's nice to embrace the experience! Will definitely eat here again! Plus it's all you can eat!
I LOVE this place!! The lady that served us was so friendly and we got a ton of side dishes al ok no with what we ordered. The rations were nice and big too. And they refilled your rice bowl whenever you asked for it. All the food we got was so fresh and delicious! We ordered bulgogi and when we got it, it was still really warm and nice. I wish I could come here everyday!
One of the best options for Korean BBQ in Salt Lake City. Excellent staff great food the owner is wonderfully funny. Would recommend to anyone.
A fantastic experience, the service was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the sides were amazing. If you can try the soju it's delicious. Go to this place!
Great food and service
Were do I start. I have never been to a Korean barbecue place before. I did not know what to expect. The food was amazing although a little different cooking my own food. You cant help but fall in love with a place that brings you endless plates of raw meat. The primal instinct in man is excited a you watch and listen to raw meat sizzle on a hot grill. The urge swelled up inside myself to jump on the table dance about all the while grunting and beating my chest to celebrate a succesful hunting party. Will I be going back? Yes!
Great service and DELICIOUS food.
Good atmosphere, spacious seating. Friendly service, great for just 2 or a large family. Highly recommend the rice water punch!

Great food
Upon entering ego Korean BBQ we were laughing at how it's right next to an auto store and a planet fitness. Talk about the most masculine experience possible. You could literally go and work out, eat a ton of meat, and then go to the auto store to get whatever you need for your newest project.
Honestly though, we have been scouring the valley for a decent Asian restaurant for the last three years and have not been successful. My spouse is California born but pure blood Asian. Growing up eating mostly home cooked food they rate this is one of the best Korean barbecue places in the valley that we have tried so far. The potstickers were a favorite.
If there was a downside, it would be the marinades. They were pureed and it made the meat somewhat grainy.
Fun and delicious! Try the red bean ice cream sandwich... it's awesome.
Good food
The wait staff are super friendly and explain everything if you are new to Korean bbq.

I like this place! They serve first-cleass dishes, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that place is a professional, I like a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently of high class, the attitude towards the customers is very good too. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Great food. Able to order what meat you want, as they bring it to you(as of 7/11 no longer true). That being said, pretty authentic for Korean. In table grills very similar to Korea...types of meat very similar, as well as the side dishes, even some of the desserts available. I'd recommend having the server clean or replace the grill once and a while to keep from smoking and to keep mixing flavors. A bit pricey, but worth it. Only complaint, no Hite or Soju.....

My SO and I just came here earlier this evening (already being here once before.) Although its a bummer they cant currently do all you can eat (which is quite understandable,) her and I loved the A la carte options! The staff member who seated and served us was phenomenal! Unfortunately I didnt catch his name, only the shoes, and glasses he was wearing haha. (White pair of Nike Huaraches, and black rectangular frames.) He was super friendly and knowledgeable, just awesome. The food was great as usual, and Im looking forward to coming her more! Dont sleep on Ejo, thats for damn sure. (For the record, the photo doesnt do the food justice haha.)
The food is very good and the service is excellent
It's open again!!! I like the social distancing and the COVID response. Feel safe eating here and the menu has changed for the better!!!!
Food was amazing, and so was the service. Definitely going to be returning.
Quality Korean food that taste amazing and is authentic. Friendly, simple, good service and you can cook your meat on the grill in front of you. Decent selecetion of soups and other dishes aswell. Expect around 20 dollars a person after tip.
Very neat and clean
Good service too just love it
korean bbq, so good. Got there near six, it wasn't packed at all. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. The bill was decent. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.
Tasty, probably will return.
Love the korean BBQ. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommend
I miss you guys.
A top place for korean bbq. got there near five, it wasn't very busy. the staff was very helpful and welcoming. it has a good interior.
It was delicious, i lived in Korea and the food here tastes exactly like like the food in Korea, 10/10 would recommend
korean bbq at this location - excellent. visited on fri i believe.
By far the best Ive ever eaten. The staff is prompt friendly and attentive and the short ribs are TO DIE FOR. Ten out of ten, will for sure be coming again.
You most definitely must try this place!! I was skeptical at first and was definitely impressed with the high quality of service and the high quality of food. The restaurant is super clean. The prices are reasonable. The food seems super authentic. I will most definitely be back especially because of their efforts in implementing measures to protect customers during covid. Five star for sure. Highly recommended!!
I've come here a few times now and my reasoning to my addiction is how they get these dishes and tastes so right. The Kimchi is phenomenal and will always be my go to. I've tried many Korean BBQs, and I will confidently say that this restaurant stands at very the top of my list. Amazing service, and the food just blows my mind even after going there so many times.
korean bbq, yeah, super yummy. nothing to complain about. the staff was sociable and attentive. similar to a place in denver i loved.
Our family LOVED our evening at Ejo! The food was absolutely delicious! Korean BBQ is new to us, and we are now fans...Great flavors, awesome variety, and all around excellent. The service was also impressive. We had a lot of questions and the server did a great job guiding us through the menu and selecting dishes we loved. We'll be back!!
One of my favorite places for tasty Korean BBQ. Food was super flavorful. The service was helpful and kind. Prices are reasonable I would say.
korean bbq, mmm, awesome. great location to meet with friends. prices were fair for the quality of the food. feels like a place in charlotte that i enjoyed visiting.
Korean BBQ, mmm, very tasty. Fast, efficient, and courteous service.
korean bbq and the scene at this spot is excellent. A preferred evening place. It has a nice feel to it. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.
Great location for quality Korean BBQ. One of the best spots in the area. The bill was fair for the quality of the food.
korean bbq and the scene here is above par. service is always nice even when they have a full house. next time i'll be back with my relatives. bring your appetite because portions are filling. i can see why they have so many reviews.
One of the best Korea BBQ in town they use to do buffet but right now they offer a combo which is even more worth than a buffet! We came for 3 and only order combo number 25 came with 4 different dishes of BBQ and we cant even finished them! Dont worry if it wont filled you up! Taste very authentic as always!!
Great service, good food, inviting atmosphere

A top place for Korean BBQ. Good place to hang and eat some good food. Prices are reasonable I would say. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.
For Utah, it's definitely 5 stars and one of two of the best.... This place has better quality meat, just not as much variety of their competitor. Service is also better here.
Outstanding place for korean bbq. Great hospitality. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.
A fav place for quality Korean BBQ. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back.

Outstanding place for delicious Korean BBQ. i love this place, great food & service. i will be back with my coworkers. prices that won't shock you. food is similar to a cafe in indianapolis i liked.
Korean BBQ... so good. Came here on a Friday I think. The service here is better than most. Not so close to my office, unfortunately.
Popped in for a quick lunch. The facility was very clean. The staff was friendly as well as attentive. And, the food was quite good. I would definitely recommend this eatery and rest assured, I will return for more. Yummy
Best korean BBQ in town
korean bbq and the scene here is excellent. It's so tasty. Next time I'll be back with my relatives. The place has an awesome atmosphere. Mood here reminds me of Colorado Springs area.
EJO Korean BBQ is probably the best Korean BBQ restaurant that my wife and I have been to in UT! The restaurant was very clean, the food was brought to our table quickly, great selection of choices, very friendly staff! We will definitely visit again!
Delicious bulgogi, I had the single serving plus the side dishes and it was very good
Very good!
Great food. Authentic, generous portions, reasonably priced.
Food was good, server was friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable. Will definitely be coming back again.
This place was so great! The food was very authentic and delicious, the staff was very friendly and outgoing for us! I'll definitely be going back!

By far the best Korean BBQ in Utah. Ive eaten here multiple times and the servers are always friendly and the food is phenomenal. Eating here is such a unique and extravagant experience. I highly recommend eating here, you wont regret it.
Ive been wanting to go to a Korean bbq place when I got here in SLC, lucky for us we got to stop by here at this amazing restaurant! The service was a 10/10 and Cynthia, the owner/server has been very helpful in suggesting good Korean foods we should try.
The foods were superb! Its authentic! Ill 100% come back!
Pleasantly surprised, it was our first time at a Korean BBQ and it was amazing!!! All our picky kids ranging from 6 to 12, loved it and want to go back! We had fun cooking some of our meat at our table. The flavors of the food were so delicious. The customer service was great, we felt very taken care of! I highly recommend them and are planning to go back soon!!
This place is so yummy. Came here with my family and we did the all you can eat and we definitely left full. Its such a such experience and the food is really flavorful. I would recommend eating here for sure!

Great food, great staff and great prices! This is always our go to place!
So delicious. Our new favorite in the neighborhood. Cynthia was fantastic leading in us through a Korean culinary journey of meat stacks.
Great food and friendly service
The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean! I had the all you can eat lunch and loved all the different meats we tried. I especially liked the spicy bulgogi. I will be coming back again for sure!
This place is so cool! I went with my friend who spent 6 months in Korea and she said it was an 8/10 for authenticity. It was fun to do the meat ourselves. Had I not gone with her I probably would have been a little confused and needed help but it was such a fun time. I will be bringing more friends here and introducing them! It was an experience and the food was awesome. Employees were friendly and helpful too. 100% recommend!
So goooood!
The food was great! The staff was great! I couldn't have been more pleased!
The food was great and really authentic style korean food. I had bibimbap, vegetables with rice and the vegetables was so fresh.
It was really good
I wish I could post with pictures but unfortunately some reason I couldn't adit pictures
We loved this restaurant- the food was amazing, service was great, and everything is super authentic. The venue is so cute as well! Some other places in town might be cheaper but the quality is way better here and the staff is so nice. Recommend highly!
This was my first time eating in a restaurant in over a year, and I'm so glad this is where we decided to go. The space was clean and well-decorated, and I was impressed by their dedication to health and safety by spacing out diners. Little did we know that this is a family-owned business, so getting to support local was definitely a plus. Our server was the son of the owners, and he was friendly and easy to chat with, and also very attentive to our table and making sure our meal flowed well. The All-You-Can-Eat menu was more expansive than other KBBQ places we've been to, and everything was delicious. Yes, KBBQ can generally be on the expensive side, but this was well worth it for the experience and the quality of meat that we got. We'll definitely be back!
Having eaten a lot of Korean, this place is very authentic and delicious!! I would totally recommend coming here.
Best Korean restaurant I've known ,friendship, best customer services and food are the bomb and delicious ! Im not tired eating from this restaurant better than Chinese restaurants who try to copy the Korean real food lol Love it n thanks for your service
The staff was very friendly and the food here was amazing! I see myself coming here more often:)
Had a great birthday dinner here! It's such a lovely family-owned restaurant and the food was great! I really enjoyed the bulgogi and banchan, but the service and cozy ambience really made the place. Can't wait to come back!
This place is perfect for family time and great food. Great ambiance and exquisite customer service. This will be a place to always come too and always recommend! Thank you!
This place opened me up to a whole new world of excitingly delicious flavors. Excellent service. If you have never had Korean BBQ, you are doing it wrong. This place is OUTSTANDING!!
I kept meaning to get to this place the entire time it was closer to 700 E. and didn't manage. When they moved a bit deeper in the lot and changed approach, same thing, but just never seemed to connect. Finally made it over there to check things out. Let's chat about the interior. Everything (as long as you don't look up, and I strongly urge you not to do that) is all sort of white and clean. It's not exactly welcoming, but not too off-putting. The tables all have a sort of heated grill in the center of them. The table I was at didn't have a grill that worked great, but managed to more or less work things out.
The idea here is all you can eat and they will bring you either a place of raw meat or cooked meat, depending on what you order. They are not really marked as to which is which, that I could find, anyway, on that menu, so it's a bit haphazard. The sliced Angus was pretty solid, as was the Galbi and the Bulgogi. I ordered some of the chicken, which came out cooked, and that was pretty nice. There is a bar area where you can get veggies, fried rice, and, oddly, orange chicken, so I partook of that as well. The Orange Chicken was quite nice. They also had sauces, but I didn't bother with those. Green tea was also solid.
The wait staff seemed to need to be chased down whenever we wanted more stuff. That was kind of a nuisance and I think how much you enjoy this depends directly on how much you feel like cooking your lunch or dinner or whatever. I think conceptually, it's fine, but if you're in a hurry, this place is mostly a non-starter. Flavors were very solid, though most could have used a lot more spice for my taste, and I definitely enjoyed most of what I had.

I have been coming here for years now. Never seem to disappoint. The food is outstanding and very flavorful. Recently they have become a buffet style all you can eat Korean barbecue. Smart idea if you ask me. Great selection of meat and very affordable.

Environment: 5 stars
The place is new and spacious unlike other Korea BBQ buffet, either the floor is sticky orthe seats are super small. Most importantly, the snack bar is really tidy and clean.
Food 4.5 stars (lack of options)
Kim chi, best ever! It tastes exactly like what I had before in Asian. I hen they are around. We waited for way too long to get drinks, get a refill, get our check, and to have the payment processed. Before becoming AYCE we, it does not taste like something u can buy from the Asian markets!!!!.
Meats are alright. I like the pork which doesnt smell too bad(if u have tried fresh un-smelly pork in Asia, I know what I am talking about).
But they do lack some options. If u like shrimps or beef cubes, Ombu is probably better.
Soup: the ingredients are very fresh as u can see the veges are juicy. Just to remind u, we went there on Monday. Well, that means the owner is definitely not using some leftovers.
Service: 5stars
The lady owner really reminds me of restaurants in Asia, where the cook or the owner usually reccomend the best way of eating or choices to the customers, even it's a buffet that they can just save some breath.
But I did notice that they didn't hire many waiters so the service will probably get some negative feedback since the owner is doing things in a very welcoming but Asian way that people here would have problem understanding.
So I suggest that u guys should hire some young people to help around the restaurant with explaining the menu and the sauce bar.

Couldn't believe this place made a 180 degree turn in service and food.
Was an old customer of Ejo when it went from decent to so-so to bad to horrible and then closing its doors.
Not sure what has happened as I heard someone say it is the same management as before. Maybe they googled how to be more customer focused and make better items?
Anyway, loved the interior and big open space. The hot and cold bar was very nice as well. We did the AYCE for dinner and had to ask them to bring out less meat as we wanted to try as many proteins as possible. They obliged and were very on the ball. The portions are quite large and would have been better if there were 4 of us in our party.
Their kimchi was excellent too, I don't remember the old Ejo having as good as kimchi as this. I get mine from the Korean store on state street which is package and made from South Korea. Ejo had a comparable offering as well and had 4 helpings of it.
For sure will be back, and happy with everything about this new place.
